भारताच्या अधिकृत कॅलेंडरच्या श्रावण ह्या ५व्या महिन्याची आज ४ तारीख अर्थातच त्यामुळे #shravanchallange चा ४ था दिवस.
भारताचे राष्ट्रीय कॅलेंडर हे ख्रिस्ती धर्माप्रमाणे सौर कॅलेंडर आहे. सौर (कॅलेंडर) वर्ष पृथ्वीला सूर्याभोवती फिरण्यास लागणारा वेळ.
मात्र भारतातील सर्वोधिक लोकसंख्या असलेले हिंदू आणि मुस्लिम दोघांचेही कॅलेंडरवर्ष हे चांद्र वर्ष आहे. चांद्र (कॅलेंडर)वर्ष म्हणजे चंद्राला पृथ्वीभोवती फिरायला लागणारा काळ.
हिंदू कॅलेंडरच्या श्रावण महिन्यातील शुक्ल पक्षाची आज तृतीया (३ री तिथी).
श्रावण हा हिंदू महिना सुरु झाल्यापासून इंद्रदेवाने वरुणास्त्र आवरते घ्यायला सुरुवात केली होतीच. त्यामुळे आज श्विनबरोबर बाहेर पडताना रेनकोट घेतला नाही. पाऊस सुरु नसला तरी ढगांनी पांघरलेल्या पडद्यामुळे सूर्यदेवाला मात्र श्विन आणि माझ्या जोडीचे दर्शन घेता येत नव्हते.
मानपाडा रोड संपून कल्याण शिळ रस्त्याला लागलो खरा. पण तेथे मात्र श्विन आणि माझ्यात द्वंद्व सुरु झाले. नेवाळी फाट्याला जाऊन वाटेत हिरवळ अनुभवायची का खड्डे टाळण्यासाठी बदलापूर पाइपलाइन ऐवजी शिळ फाट्याला जायचे ह्याचा निर्णय होत नव्हता. मात्र अखेरीस आज श्विनचाच विजय झाला आणि आम्ही शिळ फाट्याकडे निघालो.
श्विनला चांगलाच हुरूप आला. श्विनचा आनंद द्विगुणित करायला 'पवनकुमारही' तयार होते. मात्र पवनकुमारांनी श्विनला पाठीमागून ढकलण्याऐवजी डावीकडून उजवीकडे ढकलायला सुरुवात केल्याने श्विनच्या वेगावर अडथळा येऊ लागला. अर्थात मी मात्र वाऱ्यामुळे खुश होतो.
'कोकणरत्न' चे बाहेरूनच दर्शन घेऊन आम्ही परत फिरलो. परत येतानाही रस्ता खड्डेविरहित आल्याने श्विनने आज राइडची चांगलीच मजा लुटली.
माझी श्विन हि सायकलची नक्की कितवी पिढी हे माहित नाही. पण ह्या 'सायकलवंशाचा' थोडी माहिती करून घेउया....
